I am going to be opening up a Wax Bar in Spring 2011. It's going to be a female only waxing service focusing on Brows & Brazilians/ Hollywoods.

I'm on a mission for the best post care products and other complimentary products.

I'm wondering... What have you found are the most popular retail products for waxing services?

Sounds good, your in Canada so not sure of product availability. But for me it is two key products:

Tea Tree based After Wax Lotion.
IngrownZone Serum (spray).

The latter is amazing - not sure of availability near you.

I also retail a lot of waxing aftercare products and clients find it so much easier if they can get it directly from you..

I offer a range of skin wash and skin lotion, with tea tree, and I also retail PFB, and clients who have used this come back for more.

I also provide a sterex cream for clients after the intimate waxing treatments, as part of their after care pack.

Often the company that you will use for your waxes will offer a range of retail aftercare that you can stock. I use Perron Rigot and they retail refreshing gels and a body moisturising milk in handy sized tubes.

If you can buy some sample sachets of a product range and give these to your clients , as part of their after care then they often come back and buy the product from you.

I retail after wax lotion. I get the little tubes from wax master. I include these in intimate male waxing but they sell well too.
I also retail the PFB Vanish and this sells very well.

I'm looking at retailing pfb vanish. Do you get it from trade on the pfb website, or is there another wholesaler to buy it from?

Salonlines are very good, but I also ordered some from Salons Direct, and they also sell it individually so you can order a few bottles to try it out, and its much the same price as salon lines.

Mineral Make up (for after facial waxing, foundation, brow gels/pencils etc)

Body scrub (we have Dermalogica, so Exfoliating Body Scrub or the Ultimate Buffing Cloth along with Conditioning Bodywash)
