Well i would like some info on waxing as i know a lot off you offer it.

How long does it take say to do full legs, bikini line or brazilian?
And how much to you charge?
Also can you really hurt some one down on the private parts eg burn them etc?

And also as a beauty therapist would you ever have the treatment down on yourselfs if u had to pay someone?

Thanks in advance

I do it myself lol

The places I can't do properly and wouldn't really advise is bikini line or underarms on yourself.... I know people who do but I've done it and bruised as you can't really stretch yourself that well.......

If you click on my website link you can see how much I charge. I've just done my first male waxing too..... Loved it....

Timing depends on how hairy the client is but underarms should be around 5 mins at the most 1/2 leg 20 mins and bikini (crease) 5mins.

You can damage (bruise) if you don't stretch the skin in all areas but definitely the bikini area..... I always get the client to help by using both her hands to stretch different areas (sides or top) and I support below or where needed.

Hope I've helped honey x

Ive never really hurt someone doing bikini waxing. very sensitive clients may bruise, go very red or get blood spots. but ive never done anything to a client where i thought OMG IM GONNA GET SUED!!!

I don't do advanced waxing as I have heard horror stories about it - I also believe that the hair down in the really sensitive area is there for a reason.

If you do choose to do brazillian and Holywoods, make sure your insurance covers you for them, because when you're working on such a private area, some of the nastier clients might accuse you of all sorts

It's also quite unhygenic, but this is just my opinion. Plenty of therapists do advanced waxing and have no probs with it!!!

From what I;ve been told, people just new to advanced waxing will usually perform a treatment within an hour - sure it's along time, but think about all that hair you ahve to get off and about positioning your client.

And yes, you can damage skin by waxing if you're not careful. Always make sure the wax is the right temperature and pull the wax strip off parallel to the skin. Also make sure you stretch the skin as much as possible - this will prevent taking skin with the wax and hair and bruising the client.

Lots of love and cherry wax,

Thanks everybody for giving me a insight
