Hi Peeps,

I did these last night. I am so proud of them, I know they're not perfect but one of my best ever sets.

Constructive critism please to help me improve :)

p.s. For some reason the picture won't enlarge, they are in my gallery as well! Oh .... and I'm a Premium geek now :D

Lovely Rose - any Bride would be delighted with them. Well done!

They look lovely Rose, you should be very proud. Good Work well done!!

Beautiful nails Rose, Well done ~you should be very proud of yourself.

They are lovely what did you use on them?

Thanks for your comments all, any ideas on where I could have made them that bit better? I've also lightened the picture, it was a bit dark before .... thanks Glo!

I used Creative Perfect Pink and White powders with Negligee over the top to soften the white a little.

Looking good Rose!
Really feminine and natural.
Wonder who had the biggest smile on her face... you or the bride to be! :wink2:

They look great Rose, but they do look a little Egyptian Hattish (a term I learned from Geeg!). If you have Geeg's book, then find the page with a piccie that demonstrates what I mean and how to correct it - they just splay a bit at the ends of some of them.

Funny you mention that actually, I think it was me! You should have seen her nails before .... I'm so sorry I didn't take a picture.

The camera seems to make the nails look a little wide for some reason .... just having a gook look now actually .... oh well!

They are lovely Rose, I like the negligee over the top too, very subtle for a bride. If you really want a little constructive critism, the _only_ little thing I can see is they look slightly wide, but I would sure be happy to have them on my nails and be proud as punch of them :)

Well done :)

They are beautiful nails, i would be proud to have a set of them wedding day or not.

Very elegant and femanin.

luv 'n' hugs

Hi Rose they are beautiful nails...what tips did you use? Radical French white tips....or velocity....if Velocity those smile lines are really good and consistent........I love Negligee and it is perfect for a bride.......Just keep an eye on the width as others have mentioned ....... a couple are a tiny bit wide....just another couple of strokes with your abrasive....but you should be chuffed, and your client will definitely be.

WOW !!!!! they look lovely hun..well done ... xxx

Hi Izzi,

Thanks for that, I used velocity natural tips. I've been practising on my smiles :)

Yeah, I know what you guys mean about the width but for some reason they didn't look that wide last night. It could be the angle at which I took the photo but then that sounds like I'm making excuses lol!!

Rose, don't get hung up about it hun! THat's the trouble when you give constructive advice! It was only an observation of what is otherwise a fab set. They never look the same in photos as in real life anyway!

I soo know what you mean Rose...and it prob is the angle of your pics!
You have taken the pic 'front on' so to speak and this is where your camera has focused.
Im no expert, far from it but, if I take pics now I always try and get a few and shoot from diff angles... sometimes even a few cm's either way can make a massive difference to how your nails look.
I always say to peeps...'you dont mind if I fire a few off do you'...but then peeps are used to my camera popping out now anyway, lol!

I know where you're coming from, I do this as well and I normally take about 7 pictures from all angles but last night I left my camera at home and had to use my clients (she was kind enough to offer), I was adament that I was not leaving without photo's, my camera takes much better pictures. What I'll do is ... when I do her Rebalance I'll take a photo again but with my camera and post it on here.
