Hi all!

My client has base 6 hair. She has previously coloured her hair but hasn't touched it now for a good 3 years. We cut her hair regularly (6/8 weeks) there is very little colour left on the ends ( previously highlighted).

We want to go for a caramel colour around a base 8/9, so its soft and natural looking. I want to avoid using bleach if I can.

Could anyone advise what would be a nice colour to use?Below are the colours she sent me that she likes.

I'm looking to buy the colour tomorrow so if someone could get back to me before then that would be great.

Thanks

Those look like a balayage. Its going to be really difficult to do a balayage without bleach. The main problem is consistency of product, tint is much looser than bleach, then with colour the lift wont be as good. Personally I'd just stick with bleach.

However if you're dead set on not using bleach what you could do is some selective foiling with tint, then backcomb and tint the ends in between and wrap that up in foil too.

I'd probably go for something in
illumina, 20g 9/60, 10g 9/1 and 10g 9/ with 12%.

Once you wash this off I'd then tone with 9/97 in ct and leave it for the full time so it deposits all of the tone.
