Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anyone could help me. I want to get bright purple flashes on a base 4 and wondered if I could mix a bit of bleach in with 55/66 ?

I like the way that Magma does this but they don't do a purple.

If anyone could let me know if this works that'd be great

Magma is completely different, pre lighten the slices first then go back over with 55/66
bleach in colour will result in bleach...no colour at all Unless it's highlift

how bright do you want the flashes? i would think bleaching then 55/66 would be lightening it to darken it again? you'll just end up with 55/66. If you want them pretty bright, bleach then crazy colour in the shade you want would work

Hi there.

If you bleach the slices first, this will result in a brighter purple. If you just put the 55/66 on without pre-lightening, it would not really be bright enough because of the dark base. But yes, you could bleach and use crazy color if you want, although the purple may fade quite fast.
