What am I entitled to?

I know that I get 12 days and I work 3days a week. If a BH falls on a day I work then I don't have to use one of my own holiday days. I just get paid for it as normal if that makes sense.

That's what I thought but I just checked online hunni..seems the law as changed. Your are the same as me now 16.8 data INCLUDING bank holidays xx

It's been like this for quite a long time. It all stemmed from large businesses getting done for indirect sex discrimination. Essentially those who worked part time were losing out on BH's if they fell on days they didn't work. (basically, they were putting the hours in through the year but not getting the benefit of BH's). As most of the people who work part time were/are women this meant they had grounds for indirect sex discrimination so it changed to give them their fair share according to the number of hours they work in a week.
If in doubt, speak to a Solicitor who specialises in Employment Law.
