i have a client in a weeks time that has pre lightened hair, and wants to go a pinky red. i have bought a la riche directions colour in poppy red its the colour she wants but i was just wondering if any one knows how i could get this colour in a semi instead of a crazy colour because i have read that the la riche colours fade real quick.
any comments would help thanks :D

This is a semi, do you mean a quasi? If so it'd be hard to get an exact match as this is a purely tonal colour

If her hair is already White pre lightened you could mix a toner with red concentrate will probably be fairly difficult from it being pre lightened to get the exact shade she wants! Pinky red isn't very specific?

I think quasis will fade quicker than using directions depending on how porous the hair is already. The thing with bright semis like that is that you have to build up the colour over a few applications. Poppy red is a vibrant pink toned red so it will stick to the hair much better as pink is a strong colour in semis. It stains the hair and ultimately will provide better coverage with no damage to hair as there is no oxidization. Directions dont fade that quickly, about the same as any other crazy colour semi. Just depends which colour you get but pink based red should last a while.
