Colour, cutting, hair up or mens?

I said in an earlier post that i needed some inspiration, I'm going back to do my level 3 in September, but would like to hear some recommended courses.
Thanks geeks!xxx

I know I'm not answering your question but I'm wondering kind of the same thing. I'm not sure whether to go on and do my level 3 in September, I've been debating as to whether or not to do barbering instead, or at least first. Keep getting really conflicting info about wheher level 3 is beneficial or essential. can i just ask, what was your interview for level 3 like compared to your level 2? I've got mine tomorrow. eek

Ahhh!
I wont know till June, Thats when I should enroll at the college, Ive been hairdressing for a while now and I want to learn to teach, and Level 3 is essential! It will be good too scrub up on all the theory and other aspects of hairdressing that I dont tend to do on a regular day to day basis!
Dont panic, I'm sure you will be fine, As long as you hav a passion and skill for hairdressing you will fly through it!

Passion I may have, the skill I'm not sure about? I won't finish my level 2 until June but I feel like I am just starting to get to grips with stuff now its nearly time to finish. I don't feel like you get taught enough to go out into the real world and work. I want to get as much knowledge and practice as possible before I work on my own or in a salon. The college that I'm at is run as a commercial salon so we deal with clients on a daily basis, but I'm sure its different knowing I have a tutor there to ask if I'm in need of help, plus the clients know what they are paying for. So not sure what to do about level 3 anyone with any advice please feel free. If not level 3 I do really want to do barbering at sometime as well.

Colouring for the financial benefit, and cutting for upping your skill levels. Hair up can be done later. You MUST do mens hair. It is 50% of the population, and superb for cutting skills and cutting discipline.

Wahl is a must it's the best. If it's the case you do a lot of hair up then I'd do you courses in order of demand and need. Colour and cutting is going to be at the forefront for refreshing and keep up as these are services your going to be doing day in day out. :)

I went to wahl for 2 day Barbering course and it was brilliant, I didn't learn much Barbering in level 2 and this definetely gave me the confidence and skills and answered alot of questions I had. Teacher was great too and very easy to get on with HTH
