What do you think to this Blink & Go application?

Oh my god that is absolutely disguisting!!!

Sorry, I didn't mean the lashes r disguisting. Just disguisting that ANYONE could have the cheek to ask for money after that.

All I do is semi-permanent lash extensions, oo actually just started doing minx too. Anyway, lashes are my bread and butter and I get so disappointed at the low standard of lashes out there. It's far too easy to get a certificate and get insured.

I've done quite a bit of correction work and I am just gobsmacked that people have the cheek to charge. Bad work just gives the industry a bad name and people write the service off after one bad experience.

Erm, sorry about that girls, don't know what came over me. Am feeling better now that's out lol.

Torilou you should go to the Blink and Go gallery to see pictures of how the lashes should look, print them off and take the pictures with you so they know what you're talking about. Here's a link:

Personally I'd want a refund for such a bad set of lashes. This girl should not be doing lashes at the moment.

Then I'd want a complimentary set of lashes by a competant lash tech for the inconvenience caused, discomfort caused, damage to lashes due to incompetant lash tech, time wasted and having to make an extra trip, getting gel in your eye etc... I think it's the least they can do. Then if they refuse to do this I'd say I'm contacting Blink and Go direct and forwarding the pictures you've taken. Blink and Go have got a good name and great marketing and I'm sure they be horrified with lashes like that trading off their name!

I'd ask for their insurance details too and say you want to contact them too and let them know about their incompetance.

Hum, maybe I'm being a little strong. But I'm just appauled with it.

No i would do the same only i wouldn't want another set of lashes doing no way these are terrible i hope you havent lost too many of your natural lashes. THE GIRL SHOULD BE SACKED!!!or at least in the lash department ! poor you. :evil:

You're so right I do think the girl should at least be banned from doing blink and go, or get more training!
I'm going to take a couple of pics from the link you gave me to the blink and go gallery, my lashes are sooooo not like this, I am thinking about emailing the salons manager and even blink and go to see what they think to someone putting such a bad name on the product!
I can honestly say if it wasn't for me joining this forum and getting the info from you guys I would have just had them off this time and took it as they're rubbish! Also all my friends would have thought the same, and their friends and so on, all because of one girl that shouldnt be doing them! So glad I came on here, just imagine all the other people she's done that dont know any better that will be thinking the same, it makes me sick actully I'm quite angry but hey I'll post later and tell you all how it went

That's the spirit! Not that I'm trying to spread hate and anger round the world. It's just this girl really should not be doing lashes. I'm wondering if she's even qualified now. Or did one of the other girls just show her how to do it? Maybe ask to see her certificate, and id just to make sure it's not one of the other girls certificates if they start giving you problems.

It's just when I read your original post and you said:

I'm not very good at being angry with people anyway, well not to their faces lol. I'm booked in to have a chat with the receptionist (think she does all the PR stuff also) and she seems really lovely so I'll just explain to her nicely. Funny thing is they do the blink and go right at the front of the salon next to the reception desk and the girls are always walking past and having a look when I'm having em done so wonder why they didn't say anything or maybe none of them know what theyre looking for. Maybe I should ask em for a job when Ive done my Nouveau semi perm lash training might be able to teach em lol joking.
Just out of interest how much does it cost to do the blink and go training?

Just got home from the salon, the actual lash trainer was there and she didnt look too happy with the lashes I had on. The girl that put them on wasnt there thank God! Anyway it took the new girl about 40mins to get them off, while she was taking them off another girl asked if they were coming off ok and she said, well you know how long it usually takes me to get lashes off, like 5 mins, Ive been on these about 25mins so far theyre really welded on. They wrote down everything I had to say about the girl who put them on, they didnt exactly say 'oh she's done a bad job' but I could tell they thought that, they were saying stuff like 'different people suit different lashes in different ways, shes usually really good, weve had no other complaints' The girl that took them off was really nice, she said I did the right thing coming back and speaking up. They all agreed that the tech put way too many lashes on and way too much glue, so much that the big clump in the middle that was lower than the rest was caused by pulling out some of my lashes but still hanging on by others! Thats why they hung so low. Surely the tech should have known how many lashes was too much.
Anyway the girl today agreed with the trainer that I should come back in a few days to have more put on free of charge, and to let my lashes have a rest which is fine by me. When she showed me my natural lashes I was shocked that they are very thin and Ive lost quite a few so there are a few slight gaps, I looked bald compared to normal (I have very thick black lashes naturally)
Anyhow she put me some blink and go strip lashes on free of charge which look a bit weird but better than none I suppose.
Ill be going back for the girl from today to put blink and gos back on, They actully said I can come back for the other girl to reapply them but I said Id rather not have her again so they agreed I could have the one from today do them. (sorry if confusing but dont want to mention names as would be breaking the rules I think) xxx

Im glad you got on ok, sorry about your ownlashes and the rubbush you went through, hopefully when they are reapplied they will look like they are supposed too. Good luck :hug:

Lol yeah she was there, I didnt know until the girl told me shed been on 10 years younger etc, I thought Id recognised her from somewhere xx
Just took off the blink and go strip lashes and started crying, my lashes are disgusting I feel really ugly, my eyelashes were already really dark and thick and quite long but I had to go further didnt I and its totally backfired on me as always, forgive me Im feeling very sorry for myself at the min. My top lashes ar now only half the size of my bottom ones and so thin, when I look up in the mirror there is hardly anything showing. I'm going to post another thread about it think this one has had its day
