I had balayage hair after red, colour ended up being a 4 on top to really take out the warmth, but ends lifted to almost a white blonde in parts.
Wanted to get it back to looking more natural all over (ash blonde) so hairdresser put in a full head of thick foils to take out the band of dark colour.
Did a toner of grey to make it a really lovely grey/silver colour but the roots were lilac, After a few washes my roots seem so much lighter than the rest of my hair - what has happened as they were only foils so why have all my roots lightened like this? Is there a silver toner (darker grey) I could use at home to balance things out?
