So recently I was looking on ebay to stock up on some of my beauty essentials and just decided to see how much shellac was going for as I wanted to get rid of a few colours that I rarely use, I then came accross 'BLUESKY SHELLAC' and apparantly its exactly the same as CND shellac, just with a different brand name?! They have the exact same colours with the same names however its much cheaper and going for about £7 each, I am just confused and dont understand how it can be exactly the same as CND shellac but for much cheaper..

On the listings they say
"All shellac products regardless of producer are exactly the same. They are a hybrid of nail polish and uv gel with the exact same ingredients, are 3 free and European and british safety standards approved." So does this mean they are exactly the same product but just have a different brand name?! ..Very confused..

I might order one and see what its like to see if it realy is comparable to the CND shellac products or if they really are the same?! Has anyone tried BLUESKY SHELLAC products? And if you have what were your opinions? Thankyou :)

There is only one shellac......CND took years of research to produce a quality professional product, how could another company do the same!! Bluesky Shellac is a inferior fake..... Wouldn't put it anywhere near my nails or anyone else's...... As the saying goes buy cheap buy twice! These are my options feel free to disagree xxx

I had someone come round to do shellac on me but turned out to be Bluesky! Needless to say that the service wasn't very good and the product has peeled off on three nails in a week, I was a little disappointed as I do mobile tanning and always make sure I'm professional but this lady didn't even file my nails , my cuticles are a bit of a mess and I assumed she would sort them out but didn't and she didn't even have a nail table, so had to use my very expensive dining table?? Im just so glad she didn't spill anything!, I've never had a manicure before or any mobile treatment but I'm sure this isn't normal?

I work from a home salon but occasionally do the odd mobile client and I always take absolutely everything I need including my own table, I like to be comfortable when doing nails so prefer to use my own table that I am used to.

I most certainly do not use fake products either, if im charging a client for a professional service then this is what they will get.

I use Gelish and work from home I would never dream of applying gelish without doing the cuticle prep and filing the nails into a nice shape first, I also wouldn't dream of buying Blue Sky and certainly not applying it on a client, they do it for Gelish also! this is what ends up giving the real products a bad name as clien't don't understand, they just hear the word Shellac or Gelish! :irked:
