What would be better

All my clients have acrylics so its very rare i do a full set. Ive brought some chunky glitter and some of my clients want it so would it be best to file as much off as possible and do a thin layer of gel and then press the glitter in or mix the glitter with acrylic. My aim is not to make the nail chunky so it looks different to the others as most of them only have it on 2 fingers and the rest gel polish. I only have a certain amount of time for each client as i work back to back.

It wouldn't take long to file down 2 fingers especially if it's a rebalance appointment as you'll be reshaping them anyway.
I remove the acrylic but leave a thin layer of clear on the nail then use the glitter then cap in clear.
