We mostly buff male nails tho an overlay would also be good. I have no problems I've always wanted more male clients................ and a drag queen oh how I would love to!! I love anyone who want some nail TLC.
Have a look on Ryanair and I'll do them!

My hubby was a nail biter and so I put some clear gel overlay on his nails it didnt show and his nails grew and are now nice and strong.

Ach, shame you are so far away :(

I feel for you Sknight...it's definitely an issue in some places to wear your nails in a way that people feel might be considered inappropriate for men.

Personally, I don't wear my fingernails done up for the same reasons, that a number of people I work with would have an issue with it (and it's high-maintenance for the level of activity I keep). But I do wear my toenails polished most of the time since my wife introduced me to it, and I have to say that it feels great and I can choose who to expose them to, and when to keep them under wraps. I still get the satisfaction from having them looking great, so that works for me anyway, and my wife likes them this way as well. We've even gone in for pedicures together!

I really appreciate what you all are saying, that anyone who wants their nails to look nice should be able to wear them that way; whether man or woman. I think that is a very mature and considerate attitude. I applaud the openness of this group and hope that your business will grow because of you being honest and open with your customers!

I know what you mean about doing your own nails. Its good practise, but I just dont like doing my own!
Go to someone in your area - hopefully someone near you will pick up the thread:)
What do you fancy? French, colour? You dont have to have a white french - just glitzy colour one?

I often do my own nails but it's hard work for me (doing my right hand is a real problem) and the results are never as good as going to a professional. Plus you get that great feeling of being pampered when you have a good manicure or pedicure.

I'm fortunate that there are a couple of local salons that I use regularly and the girls are always encouraging me to be more adventurous with colours and try something other than the pinks and reds I normally go for.
