OHhh what a great thread, I travelled around Australia for 3 months before settling down to have my kids, whom are 5yo and 2yo.
OHh and I have just had to defer my uni degree until 2010 due to being under too much stress with young chilldren being a mature student and studying a very hard subject Psychology, was doing my bsc hnrs degree at edge hill, love psychology and criminology ohh and love british history, esp Tudor period, love anything to do with Henry lllv.wow what a man lol. Oh and wanted to study Philosophy at degree level, but had to settle for psychology.
I also believe in angels and the after like and have seen Derek acorah many times, I believe we all have gaurdian angels xxxxxx

I am not qualified yet, but before i came to this walk of life i have had many interesting jobs which i wont get into.
I am a pagan, seems there are a few, i am chair of my childs school PTA (which i actually set up) AND im a governor. i love all aspects of digital photography and have tried the old fasioned dark room stuff too.
i am also a meen crafter and designed and made most things for my own wedding. i did all the stationary including invites, table plan, and even the card receiving box was made of terracota clay from my pottery class.
i have dabbled with jewellery making and tiara making, and im a member of my local spiratualist church.

i fell off stilts! i know i know! stupid i hear you say, but i was very good (and still am) at circus skills, i can juggle with various items, use the diablo, stilk walk, and tight rop walk too. i had just moved up from smaller metal stilts to larger woden ones when i slipped and fell backwards fear kicked in and instead of rolling and tucking, i simply held my arms out behind me to save my back, and broke both my wrists lmao.:lol:

I really like knitting Im currently making a crazy-looking green and white striped cat for my bloke. I love knitting funky stuff and last year knitted a whole Christmas tree complete with decorations for my mum and dad!
I love music of a whole host of styles: classical, indie, rock, swing, folk, motown ... and more! Ive been playing the flute (classically trained) since I was 10 and now teach the flute and recorder part time to kids at a musical education charity on Saturdays its so much fun. I also sung in choirs for years and Im hoping to get back into it one day.
I also really love dancing. In the past Ive done ballet, tap, modern , contemporary and rock n roll. At the moment Im only doing lindy hop but I always return to ballet classes eventually.
I have a weird psychic ability, I can predict the mundane. When I worked in a shop I was informed what people were going to ask for before they did, and in meetings at work I know what people are going to say before they do. Its not so good with the big stuff though. When I was on holiday in Mexico I became convinced one day that my granddad (mums side) had died. It turned out that my mums best friend died that day. So, I got the connection that it was a death of someone close to my mum, just got the person wrong ... oops!

Miss sparkle, wow at the psychic ability. I have a strange predicion ability. i wouldnt call it psychic though.
for some reason i am able to tell the sex of a baby before its born. i have never been wrong. i have even been able to do this over skype and once i contradicted both a scan and the mother and was right. all of my mates and family members ask me what they are having before buying anything lol. i think i get it from my great grandma who has always been able to do the same. i shock myself sometimes lol

Wow after reading this my life's so boring haha x
I am not yet qualified (i did 2 years @ 16 but then had my daughter, so now fast tracking hair) but i worked in casinos for 10 years and in 2000 i dealt a live poker final on Sky sports where the prize was 1 million pounds, i have also dealt to jimmy white

Work wise... I have worked in car sales in 2 well known car company's. Then went to work for a water company in the office admin side but mostly mucked in with the lads out working on the roads... I was the only woman in the office who would, I loved it.
I have an addiction to colouring books lol I could spend all day colouring find it helps me to relax.
I have not told any of my friends yet but I have been accepted to Uni next year to do a sports massage BTEC level 5, so chuffed and proud if myself - never thought I would ever be able to go.
I had my own Internet based company that sold everything to do with the s*x industry, had to stop once I had my children xx

I'm a Senior Staff Nurse on a busy acute inpatient Psychiatric ward. I also lead the inpatient alcohol detox bed on the same ward and I love it.
I also used to be involved in a charity that trains assistance dogs as a puppy parent. I would be a dog trainer in a flash if I wasn't doing what I was doing now.
Oh yes, nearly forgot...I have a seriously inappropriate sense of humour at times. :o

Such interesting lives some geeks live!
I work in a police custody suite! Had refresher course today on officer self defence, including striking, kicking, knife attacks, restraining and compliance techniques etc, so a very physical, loud and sometimes aggressive (but thoroughly enjoyable, useful and extremely important) day, all carried out whilst listening to loud, fast, motivational music. Got home (knackered after a 4.30am alarm eek), changed "uniform and character", and treated client for full leg, underarm and hollywood wax, eyelash tint and perm, and brow wax and tint - accompanied by the obligatory relaxing music, aromatherapy burners and pretty candles!
Talk about two different sides of my personality lol!

I am a bit of a hobby craft addict! If they did a membership card I would have one
I love glass painting and make exploding boxes alllllll the time! I also scrap book all my childrens pictures.
More recently when my daughter passed away I noticed how grey the cemetary looked so i bought some oasis and cut out a big butterfly shape and a star and filled it with artificial flowers (so they would last the winter) in lots of bright gorgeous colours. Now I am helping two other mums who have angel babies to make some. Its very theraputic. I hope to one day (in the far future when I am in a position to help) I might be able to run workshops for parents to make things like this and to talk through grief.
I am also very much into spiritulism and visit mediums. I am a bit of a hippy at heart. I plan to get married in bare feet
That's such a lovely thing to do and I really hope you get the chance to start rubbing your workshops

I work as a secret shopper! If I'm on an assignment and I get bad service or attitude from staff in a shop I relish writing the report!.
Give the job to someone who wants it and will enjoy it.

My fiancé is an ex professional premiership footballer playing with the likes of Ryan giggs and against David beckham! .. Ok, that's not necessarily about me, but my life is pretty boring compared!! xx
