Hi All,

I'm getting bored with all my nail enamel colours, the ones that aren't Creative and I feel I need to offer my clients something new to try every so often and I have no idea where to start. Should I just pick a random bunch from Creative's catalogue (bearing in mind that I have no idea what the colours are like at all) or should I wait until Professional Beauty in September, what would you peeps do???

xxxx

I was thinking the same thing hun...I am going to wait till september cos i am on a budget and there may be some special offers...xxx

If you don't want to wait until the show Rose, why not give Designer Nails a buzz and ask for the current top 10/20 colours?

Also, have a look through old threads here as we've often asked what are everyone's favourite shades and quite a few names come up over and over and then maybe make your choice from those after you have a look in the catalogue (though of course its always hard to go by the brochure colours).

I think you should wait until the show in September. There is sure to be some good deals and discount, etc.

I've just bought a shed load of new colours!

I believe I have a serious problem, I can't help myself!!!!!
I'd probably wait til the show too hun! They normally do good offers and the polish never looks the same in a catalouge as it does when you actually paint it!!!

I feel the same Angie, as I have saved up only so much for the show, I don't want to go and burn my money on just any colours!! I spend enough as it is! :)

Hi Balloo,

Thanks for that, I did check through other threads but it was mostly, Negligee, Moonlight and Roses, Cream puff, the usual favourites so it didn't help much.

I think I will wait for the show actually, Chris has a point, they might have some special offers on again like they did the last time.

Okay Rose, well go along with a rough list of colours you're interested in (or current best-sellers shades) and then check them out at the show. Hopefully this will stop you going too wild (though I take my hat off to you if you can behave yourself that well, cos I know I'm notoriously bad for buying anything up that happens to be in my line of vision at the time!).

With a bit of luck, Creative's new collection, Exhibit, will be launched as these colours sound yummy:

Still Life - deep burnt sienna creme
Nail Noir - deep raisin creme
Enamel on Canvass - fuchsia creme
Limited Edition - burgundy creme
NFS - deep teal creme
Work of Art - bright vermilion

Delish :lick: . Hope they are arriving for the show.

Acton had 15% of all enamels yesterday as part of their Summer Sizzlers, not sure how long the promotion is running for but it will save you a bit if you're determined to spend some :wink2:

Give them a call 0208 896 2424

Sounds funny but I sometimes uses Ebay as a colour chart. Often people are selling polishes and they include a photo of the bottle and sometimes an imnage of a nail painted with that colour.
If you can't get to see colours in person it's sometimes the next best thing, although nothing beats seeing it painted on a nail, with the proper base colour of the natural nail behind it.

That's a brilliant idea Bimbogeri I've used that method before too but just haven't seen anything lately that really grabs me. I saw some colours on ebay a while back and phoned Creative to order, they were lovely!
