Try Tropic Skincare, it's amazing.

It sounds like you may need to turn your moisturiser up a notch if your skin looks dry after moisturising.

Perhaps you are dehydrated as well as dry? I would recommend Liz Earl Superskin Moisturiser-I use this myself as my skin is dry and often dehydrated.

Once you have tackled this, personally I would say try bareminerals original for daytime. It works for me!

Best wishes x

I agree, take a look at your skincare first, because this might be affecting your skin and making it drier. Moisturiser alone won't fix it.

After that, what kind of foundation do you like? Liquid / mineral? light coverage / full coverage? SPF? what's your budget? ......

Hi ladies, I use Olay beauty fluid as my base moisturiser and I use estee lauder double wear as it's amazing coverage, I think I would prefer liquid but have use a mineral powder before, my budget isn't too tight but the cheaper the better :)

From what you have said I would still recommend trying Bareminerals original foundation on top of a really good moisturiser. BareMinerals is not a powder (powders can be drying) it LOOKS like powder but feels like lovely silky cream on the skin, and has build-able coverage.

If you go to a Bareminerals counter in a department store, they should be able to give oh a little sample pot and brush you could try. There is a fair amount in these little pots so it should give you a good idea whether to buy the full size or not.

Bareminerals has fantastic reviews and many people have found it improves the condition of their skin over time. It is also a good point that it is so pure you can sleep in it!

Best wishes x

Have you tried double wear light? It's not so heavy on the skin.
I have really dry skin no matter what moisturiser/skin care I use :( but have found double wear light doesn't dry it out more or stick to dry areas.
I Also use Lancôme teint idole ultra 24hr and love it.
Maybe go to your local dept store and ask for some samples before you purchase Xx

Take a look at Jane Iredale. It is a premium pro brand and doesn't contain bismuth which a lot of mineral make ups have which can aggravate an already stressed skin! It seems to sit well over dry areas while your skincare does good work underneath and gives you a broad spectrum spf of about 18

Clarins Skin illusion, totally gorgeous, glides on like silk and what I love is the shades are neutral ( no sign of the dreaded orange) you only have to read all the reviews on any place that sells it (Boots, Debenhams and so on) to see why I love it.
