Glad you like the product your using..are you speaking from a therapists perspective or are you a consumer ?

CelebritySecrets all the way, natural colour great smell and not to expensive plus a great customer service team .

LA TAN all the way for me two..:)

We use fake bake and i have also finished trying the 8% 10 % and 12% suntana and loved them too!

Its very confusing isnt it?

My best advice to you is get samples, try them on people and get lots of feedback.

best thing you can do is email most of the companies and get free samples so does not cost anything and then try them all out and keep a record of fade off, colour smell ect. and then you will find one u like most, it is all down to what you like best.

Famous dave l know the name is terrible but clients love the tan and the new LA disco are cliets fave

Try looking for something different! I use tan products that put skincare first.

BeauBronz leaves your clients skin amazing, so soft and silky and a gorgeous colour with pink and caramel undertones - perfect for brides, fair skinned clients and older ladies who do not want to look 'fake'.

Aviva labs is superb too. Absolutly amazing choice of solutions and colours including a manual application tan too for clients after a more spa like treatment than a cold spray tan.

Beaubronz is 95% natural. Aviva Labs contains 66% Less ingrediants than many leading brands so is hypoallergenic. Puri-tan is also fab with a varied colour range. All three products have a massive cult following and once your clients have had a tan with them, never leave to go back to the high street leaders. This is good for you because few salons have these products so a) I can charge much more - £32 a tan, and b)tell everyone ALL of my products are Alcohol free so they are not drying to the skin, c) they are the nicest most natural colours on the market which if needed can be applied super super dark for dancers & body builders and d) they have bronzer only colours for clients not wanting an all week tan.

Can't possibly list all the benefits here as there are far too many, but what speaks the most is clients and how many now are seeking more natural alternatives that are less damaging to their skin.

There is no one range though that is brilliant, there are probably 5 or so that are superb, and Fake Bake and St Tropez are not up there. Do a survey of all your potential clients and see how happy they have been with previous tans and what company the product was from. Myself and 40 other spray tan techs have each asked 100 people what tan they preferred and all but a few were unhappy with Fake Bake and St Tropez. I would love to do this as an independant trial but it would cost far too much.

The response off people was that they thought Fake Tan was bad and that there was no alternative and all tan products were the same.

You have the ability to change their opinions, so listen to your clients first and foremost and see what they look for in a spray tan.

I personally have never liked the colour of St.Tropez or Fake Bake but i offer Fake Bake in my salon and it is very popular with the younger clients.
I get people coming in and requesting it so it can't be that bad!
I don't like it because i think it makes you look dirty :)
I also offer Celebrity Secrets which is a lovely colour and very popular.
It's good to offer a couple of brands to cater to your clients needs.
I am thinking of trialing LA Tan though as it is half the price of Fake Bake but still has the really brown colour that the younger clients want.
You have to pick what works for you.
Sample lots and then decide based on your findings in your area, not on what people tell you on here!
