Hi Everyone. sorry I'm new to this... so bare with me. I have been using wella blondor on my client for 2 years. she is a white blonde and i use a 10/16 to tone. She has told me she wants to be a level 4 to 5. But as i have never done this before, What would you do? Thankyou. By The Way I Am Training!:lol:

Hello! :)

Firstly - don't panic! Secondly - ask her why she wants to be this dark after being so white for so long? If its an impulse thing you might find she hates it after you do it and wants to go back white which is MUCH harder and more time consuming.

If she has genuine reasons - then start by prepping her hair by making sure it has regular treatments or if you're doing it soon I wouldn't attempt it without a protein or moisture treatment beforehand. I'd also put a semi/quasi colour on a shade or 2 up from whatever base she decides on and or pre pig it with something very warm! Like a red!

Advise that there WILL be fading very quickly depending on the shampoo she uses at home afterwards and that her hair will need regular care to keep it from looking dull damaged and faded. It's a slow process to get it perfect but it's just down to the condition and strength of her hair at the moment which after 2 years of bleaching probably won't be great! U could always cut a bit off too ;)

Good luck!

Hi
I used exactly same bleach and toner on my hair when I wanted to go dark I used 5/73 colour touch (wella) with 4% straight on roots to ends for 20 mins ...... No re pigging fab result and didn't fade for a good 6 weeks applied again and it was fine in fact when I tried to fade out to go back blonde 4 months later it was a job haha
Good luck honey x

I was the same with my own hair candis - didn't pre pig because I knew how I wanted it to turn out - but since he's still training I would of said to pre pig as I wouldn't take any short cuts until you're a bit more experienced etc...:) x

Hi, I would always pre colour hair, it is more likely to keep the final colour in ,do a strand test on hair to check it is strong enough for the process! Advice client hair will fade quickly due to blonde underneath , so shampoo as least as poss with a colour save shampoo and conditioner!
