Mum is right, Minx is not mainstream. How many people buy nail art - very few - and what is Minx? Well it's mass manufactured nail art for dummies.
Minx themselves state it's only good for 4 to 6 days on fingers but up tp 4 weeks for toes. So again Mum is right - target Minx at toes. It's more cost-effective for clients and it will appeal to more customers because they can hide in their shoes in their serious day-job, and bring it out on holidays or weekends when they are casual.
But don't for one moment think it gives you a longterm competitive edge - if every salon in your area starts to offer Minx - perhaps including the low cost salons - what will you do?
Minx is quick, it's easy to apply and it's different, today. But long-term you have to offer skills and services that your competitors don't. If they can buy
the same easy to apply solution as you - you really don't have a competitive edge. So don't build a business strategy around that.
