Without too much detail, what price band is everyone offering for Minx Hands and Minx Toes.

Thanks in advance

Eva

Where abouts are you based? I would love to MINX ya
I am based in a hairdresser and do the young stylist nails, only one of her friends has had minx and she loved them, lasted her ages. I really thought all their mates would be keen but no???

Hi Melons I am based in Hampshire, What a shame.
I would have loved you to do mine.
How about approaching girls with flyers/offers before they go into the pubs/nightclubs, then before they go in they will be aware their toes don't have the bling factor!!!

Thats a great idea there is a club next door to my salon I will ask the owners/ managers if they mind
Its Friday today so could go tonight. Strike while the irons hot.

Let me know how you get on.:)

I do loads of minx on fingers!!! I have only ever done 5 peoples toes. I do all fingers. Mine last me 1 week at the very least, i normally get 2 weeks out of them! i love it as it isnt effected by my scrubfresh when im working. I wear it all the time and my clients copy. Its very popular for fingers with me! :) I have 2 big minx posters up in the salon, and have made a photo album to show people what they look like when they are on. and also have a digital photo frame with pictures on it too so people can see at the reception desk :)

Another big tip is to let clients know that with minx they are also getting there mini manicure and pedicure, (bargain).

I had client booked in for lux ped as she was going away I convinced her to try minx and threw in little foot and leg massage ( cost virt nothing) client was over the moon, and I have had 3+ friend referals from her.

xx

I am feeling a bit low.
I have brought MINX to the high street. Done loads of advertising in allsorts of places but no bookings?????
MINX is everywhere in the press on the red carpets and music awards how can people not be queing up???
I am feeling so frustrated that I am spending a fortune on nail products, rent advertising and for nothing??
I was quite up beat after xmas cos did lots of promos which has brought people in.
I am looking forward to better weather but what do I do n the mean time???
How is everyone else getting on???

i found this a bit in winter i ahve just started getting busy now with the minx and spray tanning i make sure i have my toes done and i waers flip flops constantly this get s so many queries, also i offer close friends (ones who work with a lot of people or hairdresser friends they i charge them the 8.00 that the minx costs on the condition they wear flip flops (if on toes) and give people my card when people ask what and where they had done! seems to work really well!

Make sure YOU are always wearing Minx on show for a start.

Do one or two hairdressers in your area who will wear open toed shoes in the hair salon and send the clients to you. People only have to see it to want it and when they know how long Minx last they will come. Minx sales are soaring every month ... allot of someone's are using them and making lots of money doing so.!! :D People are clamouring for Minx all over the place.

Mum is right, Minx is not mainstream. How many people buy nail art - very few - and what is Minx? Well it's mass manufactured nail art for dummies.

Minx themselves state it's only good for 4 to 6 days on fingers but up tp 4 weeks for toes. So again Mum is right - target Minx at toes. It's more cost-effective for clients and it will appeal to more customers because they can hide in their shoes in their serious day-job, and bring it out on holidays or weekends when they are casual.

But don't for one moment think it gives you a longterm competitive edge - if every salon in your area starts to offer Minx - perhaps including the low cost salons - what will you do?

Minx is quick, it's easy to apply and it's different, today. But long-term you have to offer skills and services that your competitors don't. If they can buy
the same easy to apply solution as you - you really don't have a competitive edge. So don't build a business strategy around that.
