Hi guys, in the Loreal products guide, they say never to use a 15 vol activator on colored hair. However when I went to the shop, there was no more 10 vol and the vendor insured me that it was better to use 15 vol (for grey hair coverage and slight lift). The person has colored root (level 7 or 8 but slightly brassy (from a natural basis 5 or 6)) and she has a balayage (level 10) but with yellow tones. She wants to neutralize brassy and yellow for a natural cold blonde (golden tones are okay if only slight).

So would you use the 15 vol anyway on the lenghts with the 10.12? And what Dialight would you use to have a colder tone on these colored roots? 7? Thank you!

For the brassy root I'd look at 7.12
As for the ends you're only wanting to deposit tone, 15vol will work, but it opens the cuticle more than it needs to, and doesn't deposit as much tone. I'd opt for the 6 vol or 9 vol personally.

Thank you. For the 7.12, also with 6 or 9 vol? Or with 15?

Again you're only depositing, also you want to make sure you cover the glow so 6vol will be ample.

Thank you Ronray:)! (I've seen it but forgot to answer, sorry about that)
