Hi all,

Well ive justremoved my own set of l&p nails using the quick soak bowl which i purchased from Fiona aka Naturalnails,

It is a fab piece of equipment. It took me 40mins to remove, it had been taking me anything from an hour to an hour & half using the tinfoil method!

Just had to share this with you all!
:D

I KNOW!! they are really brilliant, such a simple idea and yet soooooooo effective.
I mean thats 40 minutes geeking time gained!!!!

dont forget perfect for hot oil mani's too !

Fabarooney arent they.

I like mine too .. just a little tip though.. don't do what I did the last time I used it and put the water in too hot... I thought my fingers were going to combust and had to throw away the product remover and cool the water down :( It just got hotter and HOTTER .... lol!!!

I think I am going to invest in one of these! Even if it is just for myself, i am a biter off-er lol!!!

Do they come with instructions?

Mine came with instructions from Fiona but they are simple Kirsten, just pop some 'warm' not hot water in the holding chamber and lay the bowl flat. Poor in your product - fingers in bowls and cover with a towel. Bob's your uncle ... usually takes 30 mins for me, but I do tend to prod with an orange stick after 20 mins or so (so impatient). When you clear away ... don't forget to soakup your product with paper towel before discarding ... you don't want a drainage blockage to you lol!!!

Thanks Jen!!

just had a look and they are on offer at the moment too!! Only £9.99, bargain!!!!!!

Hi Jen,

I know what you mean about it geting hotter and hotter LOL - It does say on the instructions "Use Hand Hot water - if it is too hot for your hand then it is too hot" - I suppose it is all relevant - if you have asbestos hands then you can use boiling water - but most of us dont LOL.

Glad you like it.

Hey

I have a nightmare client who likes to soak off every 2-3 months....(not something i would normally do but shes in the garden quite alot and smokes :irked: )

Where do you get these from? Cos im there for ages when soaking off and applying a new set.

At the moment i use the tinfoil method but recently have found that the dipper bowls have been more efficient reducing the time by about 15 mins

Hi zobo,

Naturalnails sells them (see reply above you!) her website is on there!

The bowl is fab i couldn't believe how quick it worked. I think my water may have been a little too hot though as i could feel my fingers getting hot hot hot!!! I am also going to invest in some glass beads as i think that they would be fab to play around with whilst fingers are soaking!

Hi Zobo!!

They are from Natural Nails! www.naturalnailsbyfiona.co.uk
I ordered mine this morn, but she did say she hasn't many left so you'd better hurry hun!!!

I got one of these zoe, it is great. I have only used it on myself so far but it doesnt take long at all for it to come off.

Don´t you guys use ten times more soak off liquid by using this bowl rather than the tinfoil?
I would really like to try this, but I´m afraid that each soak off will cost me a lot more

Im not sure really, cause i dont measure it out!

However i know that it takes half the time to remove so that leaves you more time to do more treatments. I just wish i had bought one ages ago!

I have been thinking about getting one of these for a while so have just ordered one - hope she has some in stock still!:|

HEEEEEEELLLLLLLOOOOOOOO!!

I was thinking about getting those wee soak off pots - you know the ones that attach to each finger, but now reading this thread, I don't know what to do!!!!

Any advice which is better? - Fiona's bowl or the soak pots??

Thanks guys!!!!!!

Kisses, kisses, kisses!!

Hi,

I use both - I use the Finger Spas when doing one or two nails and the Quicksoak Bowl when doing full hands.

Mine are all now sold but they are available from other outlets.

what are the finger spas? do you have a pic of them?

i use the quick soak bowls, they are easy to use and faster i dont think they use too much remover....nice then i fill it with citrus soak & water to do a manicure
very handy
