8/9 level Loreal help!

Hi everyone...
I am a hairdresser however living overseas so have been doing my own colour at home.
Im not in a salon at the moment so have no one to bounce my thoughts off... I need some advice! Please!!
I am naturally a 7 around the front half and closer to a 6 at the back.
My desired level/colour is a soft 9/8 level blonde. Not gold, just a nice natural colour.
I have been using 9.1 + 6% on the roots to lift. I throw a lot of gold when lightening and this has been best option right now although isn't perfect, still quite warm.
If anyone has any other suggestions for root colour that will give me a relatively cool natural base, I am all ears.
I have then been breaking up with scattered lightened foils.
I have decided I might find maintenance and regrowth easier if I lower down to closer to an 8 level.
I have some Dia Light toners already so want to use those.
I was thinking mixing some 8 with some 9.01 and/or 9.02. Possibly half 8 level, half 9 level. Really after an ash natural blonde. Would you recommend 6% or 3%?
I am leaning towards 3% as I am wanting to deposit but if there are reasons why I should go 6%, please let me know.
Any help would be really appreciated. I am feeling gold gold gold and not myself so need some fellow hairdresser love!

Hey @lisab06 isnt the 9.1 majirel part of the cool cover tint range?
Thought it was but could be easily mistaken...What col out of that range would you recommend? I was out of the salon prior to these being available so haven't had any in salon experience with this range in Majirel.

Do they do a 9.11? If yes do 9.1 around the hairline and 9.11 elsewhere, I used to use 9.1 on my own root but found dropping down to an 8.1 have a better result

9% I used, 6% hardly changes my natural at all

Am wondering if I should look at Maji blonde as an alternative to Majirel?
Any suggestions?
I'm looking for a clean neutral 8/9 level. I throw a lot of gold.
Any reasons as to why I would use Maji blonde + 30 vol as opposed to 9.1 or 8.1 + 30 vol?
