word of mouth is biggie with us lol sure we all love to chat and everybody knows everybody so get all your friends and family chatting to other people its the best way - the bulk of my customers came through word of mouth

Facebook is a great place to start - what is your FB page and I'll like it.
You should also consider the following:
1. Local free newspapers - could you send them a story on the salon?
2. Referral schemes - ask clients to refer a friend.
3. Notice / Flyer in your local shop, supermarket, shopping centre, library, GAA / sports club, school and church?
4. Are there any local events you could take a stand / stall at? Family days out? Wedding Fairs? etc
5. Are you close to any local businesses - you could offer them special neighbour prices / discounts?
6. Are there any hotels nearby that you could partner with?
