Hi
A friend of mines daughter wants to get her legs waxed.
I forgot the name of it but she has started purity early and is very conscious about the hair on her legs. Her mum has approached me and will be present but I am worried about the pain. Could I have some advice please? Xx

My daughter went on and on about getting hers done (she's now 12) but cried when I pulled off the first strip and told me to stop [emoji33]. She has however been fine with her underarms using Perron Rigot Euroblonde.

It's a difficult one and I think it will depend on how much the hair is bothering her as to whether she will come back. My neighbours daughter who has coarse hair on her legs wanted it done so much she didn't even flinch. Everyone is different and how they feel pain will vary.

Should I try a bit on her arm first so she knows what to expect?

This is what I always go with my younger clients or first time waxers.

Maybe try one strip on her leg and see how you go. She'll soon tell you if it's too much and her mum will obviously be there too. If I'm any doubt don't do it. She is only 9 and there are other methods of hair removal available.
