I too think it's wrong when people seem to be clearly working for these companies but don't forget there are some people who genuinely just love their supplier. xx I have had a few clients with problems with the blonds from Lush Us, however looking into it further it was lack of aftercare. Please just try and stress to anyone wearing the blonder shades that these have been through far more severe processes than the browns!! Just the same as your own natural hair would to change from brown to the lightest blondes so the clients simply MUST follow a strict aftercare regime. i seem to remember Endless trialling some hair for Lush Us which she absolutely loved (am i right here??) obviously she is dark but it might be worth asking how she got on/still gets on with it now as I know she is one of the busier technicians in her area. Would still like to find one consistent supplier as have been trawling alternatives for months but there is so much good and bad feedbak on her about them all!! Suppose it's like anything in life - what one likes and is happy with, another wont!! :))
Hi,absoloutely,
ive only just taken that hair out, id had it in for 6 months!! which i know is really bad, but just couldnt justify taking it out, whne it was still so nice, and i can hand on heart say i never had any shedding or any knots, though i did use the correct after care, and i do recommend this to all my clients, and i can also say i did used to be blonde when i first found lush, and found it equally as nice, no hair ive ever had is as nice in blonde as it is dark, you would have to buy natural blonde swedish hair or something like that, which no one would want to pay for!
Ive seen lush have put on there site that there hair should be used with the correct products, and quite rightly so, balmain will products, only gaurantee there hair or 6 months, if youve used there aftercare products. And I can honestly say the hair ive just taken out is probably nicer than any balmain/raccoon ive ever worn/fit. And i could of quite happily re-bonded it, and re-used as it was still in brilliant condition, i didnt as ive gone 2 shades darker.
p.s, i dont work for lush, was not paid to trail there hair, and theyve only ever asked me to be honest : )

I have a client who comes to me about every 8 weeks and she brings her own hair, I fit about 40 in her hair at the back just for thickness, they are prebonded 1g and she purchases them from hairxtensions.co.uk, when I remove them to fit the new ones the hair is still nice, she washes her hair on a regular basis and its straightened nearly every day, the hair cold be rebonded and used again but she prefers new hair being fitted.

Not sure if anyone else has used this company.

Hiya, yes,ive just mentioned them in my last post,i have used hair from them, when ive been desperate for colours etc,and ive never had a problem with it, it doesnt she, matt, or tangle, they do state on there site that the hair is chinese, which kind of put me off at first, but its never course, and is cuticle correct, and very cheap! ive never had any complaints, but do worry after ive fitted it that im going to get complaints, lol!
they do always have stock too,and send it next day, without charging extra for it?
I have a couple of clients who have shoulder length hair, and only have 50 fitted, for thickness,i use hairxtensions.co.uk for them, and they love them!
xx

Hi guys, just thought I'd jump in on this before Halo get slated when they pretty good all round and far better than many in the price range! I'm freelance mobile technician, use foxy for my economy range and celeb elite for better fittings. yes halo feels thinner than 1g, but if you bear in mind they are 20'' will seem thinner than 16'' 0/8g strands. ive just started to use these and the quality is fab so far, very happy all rounds and the massive 400ml aftercare for only £3 leaves my hair feeling fab - so give them a chance they are well worth it!!

Hi,id forgotten all about foxy, they sent me some samples a while ago, but never got round to using them, so you would rate them??

Hey Endless thanks for the info! I think it is sad when people pretend to be genuine people but recommend their own hair pretending not to have anything to do with it in order to promote. I don't know if that is what longlength is doing but I have seen her post in various topics with the same post. I already have great suppliers so it does not affect me but it could mean other genuine people coming on here looking for good suppliers go for Halo which is not the best anyway. It is always hard to know the quality until you have seen them and so many suppliers, especially the big ones, try to cut corners as they grow with smaller strands that taper off. Disappointing :(

Haha, that would kind of defeat the purpose, worked a LONG time getting the right hair suppliers and building relationships, and I would say that is the secret of my success and what has been the hardest part too along the way. Finding the right quality hair has certainly been a struggle and made some mistakes but finally found some good ones. But PM and ill send some of my favourites. A lot of them have been mentioned here though, not in this post, but on Salon Geek.

By the way, when you guys buy from these suppliers do you buy the pre-bonded or the wefts and bond them yourself? Like from Lush-Us for example and celebrity elite?

Just interested in hear how people do it as it is much more cost effective to do them yourself but at the same time it takes so much longer. But also the quality is different sometimes from the weft to the pre tipped. How do you guys do it?

The Extensionst - Hope you didn't take what I was saying in the wrong way - I was purely agreeing xx By the way I think your website is great, very informative. Have found this thread very useful and have finally ruled one supplier out!! Thanks to R Gold for starting the thread. As mentioned in the other replies - all suppliers have difficulties from time to time - surely this is the nature of being a supplier. I think it's important to be able to establish a good relationship with your supplier so that when things go wrong (as they will and do) you have a point of contact to be able to rectify this with. I would personally stick with a good supplier than chop and change and have clients complaining.xx

I buy pre bonded as I don't have the time or experience to be honest to pre tip myself. That said I'm trying to find a stockist of 1g bonds and out-with the poor quality sites I'm struggling so maybe I need to buy and pre tip??

My struggle is really blondes with Lush US. I've done two re-positions in a week both 613 and the hair has went from 18 inches to about 12 inches in some strands!!!

Both clients have been wearing extensions for years so look after them and therefore I can't really blame the aftercare plus they've used other suppliers and haven't had this problem.

I have tried the temple hair but the bonds are so fine nd that's a bit off putting for me as you defo need to buy more bonds which makes the cost per head not worthwhile in my opinion.

Missfit did you get my PM?? x

Hi
I dont think Celebrity elite are 1g as they feel a lot thinner than the other 1g I have used that my client purchased herself from hairxtensions.co.uk.

I normally pretip my own hair so I have all different thickness tips.

I know that some people mention suppliers names in there postings all the time but I tend to do aswell mine are Celebrity Elite and Tasha Jacks that because I have used celebrity elite for years and Tasha Jacks is used if clients want better quality hair than celebrity elite.

I did use Diwans human hair which is indian double drawn but had a bit of an issue pretipping it (my own fault totally) and I am just thinking of reintroducing this hair into my service again. But I have had no issues with the other two suppliers at all.

Just got it there theextensionst thanks :)))

sorry to be cheecky could u pm me ive tried so many lush, hair planet, hair xtensions etc been trying to find a decent supplier for a year now its so hard but will be worth it i guess thank u x

Im another fan, I really love lush us, I think they're fab the girls are lovely too. I also like hairs and graces too also with v good customer services. I had a run in with john at halo who refused to refund me after they sent me a shade 4 instead of a 6, then said that It was a 6 they sent( ....if it was a 6 I'd have used it ?!!) he said as it was at trade price they could only exchange, obviously now I'm worried the same will happen and I'll have to postpone a client (v unprofessional) if it was my mistake or a client change of mind then i could understand but I won't be using them again as I'm a stickler for customer service!
