I don't have any tricks so to speak but .... i have seen many times cute little bowls for holding your wipes on desks....(had one myself) .....dust !!....we file and remove dust from the nail using a wipe thats been sat gathering that dust.

So now i store mine in a not so cute but practical container with a lid.
:) i do the same thing with my nail wipes. i just got a soap dish with a lid at rite-aid and thats where i keep my nail wipes. its so easy and i dont have to worry about them all falling out of the bag or anything. lol.

One of my little tricks is to cut the brushes of my white polishes into nice points so I just wizz through the whites of my french manicures with total precision!!!
Its fab - just clean off the polish - use VERY sharpe scissors and cut the brush at an angle and youre ready to go!

I'm not sure how you mean.
Can you take a pic of the brush after it's been cut, please?
And how does it change the application? I would imagine it's still in how you place the brush, no?

PS: thanks :)

I cut one of my gel brushes into a 45 degree angle for my white gel - but I used hairdressing scissors to cut as they are more prescise.

Probably been mentioned before on a previous thread but i've always found that if you use a tip(turn it over on other side) it's good for creating perfect smile lines when doing a french polish

That's a great idea! :)

Here's a Brisa trick I learned in the class I took:

Take one of those hands down towels, with the plastic backing and cut in into eighths. Use it plastic side up. The first time you load your brush with gel, you wipe it on the plastic side of the towel, then take a hands down pad, and stick it plastic side down to the pad. Put a little scrubfresh or alcohol on it then use this pad to wipe your brush as needed.

I LOVE this hint and use it all the time! :)

Ok i don't know what your going to think of this trick/tip you'll probably think i'm mad ...here goes...remember during training when applying nail polish and you had to learn the way you were taught how to hold nail polish in the palm of your hand while trying to apply polish without spilling it ...gosh! it was always a problem for me(always got scowled at for putting it on the table), after i qualified i did a trick with a curtain ring and bit of velcro and voila a polish holder ,it works for me i just attach the polish bottle to the velcro and hold the ring in my fingers ,no spillage and better movement .
