Hi I have short hair and I'd like to see if I can pull off long hair... I used to have long hair years ago but can't be bothered growing it if it looks Awful so I'd like a good quality wig not to expensive!! Can anyone help XX

Here is one site I’ve found http://www.naturalwigs.co.uk/by-length/long.html but you will also need a hair cap to cover your existing hair, preferably a natural pinky colour. You will need to maintain this, so you need to ring round and find a salon that deals and treats wigs. For a good quality wig you looking at about £150-£200. :)

I think I've saw persianista on here say she makes wigs. No idea of she still does but she might point you in the direction of a nice place :)

I usually send people to Josephs in Surrey, near the Marsden Hospital. They are very good, and mid-priced. For a really good wig, you can pay a couple of thousand, but an off the shelf one is gonna be a couple of hundred.
Failing that, Selfridges has a great wig dept.

I would charge several thou to make a wig, hardly "not too expensive"!!!

Awww thank you geeks!! You all very helpful xxx

Hello! I've been having chemo so had to cut all my hair so a wig is an essential item for me. I've got a lovely real hair wig but my favourite one is by Jessica Simpson and Ken Paves. It's called Long and Lush and only cost £90! Makes me feel really glamourous and no one even knows it's fake. The Glazed Cinammon colour is really flattering too. HTH xxxxx
