Hi there,

Do you know the Uk rules to provide Aromatherapy or Hot Stone massage?

If it is our Signature treatment teach from our Italian therapist trainer could be done in the salon or our Italian trainer could teach only the girls that have a specific certification valid in the Uk?

Thank you for your help

Sorry, your post isn't easy to understand.

First off check with your insurer.

They might require all therapists to have a formal qualification in aromatherapy or hotstones ( vtct, itec etc) before they can offer that treatment. They might accept in house training provided by your trainer for other therapist, but it would be up to the insurers.

I would always go the recognized qualification route as it give you far more options in the future if you wish to add other treatments or change the signature treatment you offer.

Hi thank you for your answer.

We will employ girls with VTCT Level 2 and 3 and Cidesco. What I mean is if they can practice the aromatherapy massage with individual essential oils because already included in these certification or they can only use pre-blended oils.

Thank you

I don't know about Cidesco at all. You would have to check their qualifications some courses only cover pre blended oils. I have seen some level 3 spa only covering this and others full Aromatherapy.
The Level 3 Complementary therapies I know have a lot of time dedicated to the use and blending of essential oils and do cover aromatherapy.
I hope this helps
