Hiya,

my asian friend has come to me to help him fix his colour and roots. The problem is I am not too sure what to do as I have not done asian hair for such a long time and I just wanted to help him as he is a student and does not want to go to a hairdresser/salon.

Situation:
Bleached hair from October now grown out. Colour on mid lengths and ends is a weird browny/green as apparently a 6.1 Wella was put on it after the bleach. It is roughly a 7 or 8 level at the moment.

Now roots are about an inch almost dark brown but showing a bit of red pigment as I think they put another colour on top and on the roots.

Friend wants a dark even brown colour maybe a tad ashy on a 5 or 6 level.

Now what to do?

bleach roots first? and then colour-in all the hair? or just the med lengths and ends? Also I am using Majirel colours.

Please please please help a very confused stylist. :)

I'm guessing he will be darkest a 2 so use 6.0 with 40vol then tone the ends with 5.0 and 10vol :) should be lovely!

il need to bleach roots right?

No, use 6.0 with 40vol roots are natural?

slightly..I think they have put a 6.0 all over and it has made the roots slightly red. mid lengths have faded.

Ok drop down to a 5 all over :)

excellent!!
It does look quite green right?

ok 5 in majirel and no need to 'colour in' or bleach

just a 5 all over :)
