ASP UV Gel

Hi everyone, newbie here and still training in Gel and Acrylics. Just a quick question I have been trying out coloured Soak Off UV gels by ASP but the colours seem wishy washy to me. I'm base coating then 2 layers of colour the top coating and curing inbetween. I have taken a picture the first one is black. Anyone have any ideas how I can get a stronger colour or maybe suggest a different product. Sorry not such a quick question. Thank you for your help

Have u maybe tried to shake the bottle or pot? Or use toothpck to stir the pigment. Heavy pigmented gels I sometimes need to stir.

However I never used or heard of this product you mentioned so I wish I could be more help. Xx

Thank you nailpod, I have shaken but not stirred I will give it a go. If this does not work any recommendations for UV lamps please

If it's the pots use a wooden stick and stir it. Make sure you go right to the bottom and around the edges of the bottom. Stir it before you prep to allow any air bubbles to disperse.

I also found this when I bought some therefore not used them any more but think I will try the toothpick stirring now

I bought these to play with before my good ones came the a
Black is one of the better ones and tutti frutti. I found they needed 4-5 coats and have a play cos it looks like you could apply slightly thicker tbh. There's not enough pigment in them for nail art or anything and they end up thick because they need so many coats . I wouldn't use them now I have my own delivered xx

If you are using asp signature gel polish then you will need to stir the bottle with their stirring wand as shaking the bottle will not mix the pigments, it will just cause air bubbles. And you will need to dry brush the base coat before colour coat.

If your using ASP soak off in the traditional gel style pots, you will still need to use the stirring wand or orange wood stick. And again dry brush the base layer after curing. Remember that it is a gel not a gel polish and should be applied like a gel and not just stroked onto the nail. Also unless you stir the pots first your curing will be affected.

Thank you all I will give it a stir and see how it comes out. It is pots and I am learning french manicure at college but friends are asking about colours.
Will let you know if this makes a difference.
