i have a client who is a base 8 with hi lights (bleach, hi lift and a champagne blonde) through her hair, the roots are a little warm and the ends are slightly ashy. she is a natural base 8. she wants to be a light clean blonde colour without it looking white, i have attatched a picture of the colour she likes. wondering if i will have to bleach and tone, but with her being light already, i am worried of her going too light, i am thinking maybe a 10/1 would be a nice colour. i use mainly wella, thanks for any help!

hi i dont use wella but i wouldnt use bleach on a base 8, you will be able to get her nice blonde with any tone with tint.. does she want full head tint now??

i didnt want to use bleach either, but was worried tint wouldnt lift the tint she already has, even the base 8 on her hair is coloured. yeah she wants an all over colour now x

sorry i must have read it wrong i thought her natural base was 8.

i dont want to bleach :( i just know its going to go too light, i might just bleach and 3% then tone with 10/1 or something?

if i were to bleach and tone to the colour in pic, what toner would be best to use? any sugestions?x

I probably wouldnt do a full head colour. I would finely weave foils of pre lightener and 6%
If you needed to tone afterwards, I would use Matrix Sync 10N, if you didnt want it too light,Just a nice light neutral baby blonde. or matrix Sheer pastel toner SPN
xxxx

thans for the advice, i did think of hi lights as she is already light blonde, but when her roots come thrrough she wants an all over colour, wants to stop having foils :/
