We all know how it goes. No matter how hard we try, we end up giving ourselves carte blanche over Christmas when it comes to what we put in our mouth, how much sleep we get and how much exercise we don't do. There are only so many satsumas you can eat before you find yourself subconsciously reaching for the chocolate box and, because it's Christmas, why shouldn't you have another glass of wine?
This is all very well and good and expected and we don't hold those festive indulgences against anyone (even if the clothes in our wardrobe do) but it does mean that come the new year, we need some serious detox options. Ironically, just when you need to do more exercise and eat less, it's horribly dark and nut-crunchingly cold and honestly, it's the last thing that you want to do.
