This client had matted parts in her hair through lack of care and had a dodgy home colour on it so picked a few weaves out that didn't have red and done a few bleached foils and coloured the rest with a 4.0

Hi Leila, i did balayage, free hand painted sections of hair. Youtube the technique (easier than trying to explain myself :s ) its really easy and so effective.

I basically took a triangle section of hair, working from the ends up to the root, i painted the whole of the ends then worked the lightener up towards the root, gradually applying the colour so the fades as it goes up (less on the top of the hair than on the ends).

Hope that makes a bit of sense xx

1st big colour job this week, before was what the previous salon did when they were shown a pic of an ombré, so they did 2 bleach baths and toned to ginger all the underneath !?!?! So 7 weeks later she comes to me to have it corrected!
