Don't take this the wrong way, as I'm meaning this as constructive criticism.

Your sectioning is not neat, and you've not used enough hair by the looks of it. The client seems to have very thick hair and the end result is very anorexic looking and a the dreaded mushroom shaped top section.

Love the purple. A client is thinking about blue dip dye extensions and I was wondering whether I could do it this way but putting the blue underneath and then a bit of her colour on top instead of buying dip dyed hair extensions?

I hadn't started sectioning yet that's just a photo to show the before. I know how to section hair. X

I think you've missed the point the poster was making.
We know that you hadn't sectioned the hair in the photo's.
The point they were making is that you can tell from the finished results that not enough hair was used and that the sectioning might've been off.

In my personal opinion - the ombre set you posted with the black and blonde needed ALOT more hair and a better blend of the colours - as the line of the black hair is just too harsh and chunky.

You should try trimming bonds down a little they are quite long, don't take anything personal everyone's just trying to help, I think what joemac was meaning was on your dark haired pic you can see a few bonds that have been placed in and they don't look very neat, it's just wee tips to help along the way 😄

Yeah Mollie thank you for the tip. I trim all my bonds down to half the size they usually are, as clients will receive longer wear.
Just in the photos was only a before photo and I hadn't started sectioning. Xx

These are far too thin, either you're not using enough hair or the strands aren't thick enough or taper far too much. Looks rather straggly. You could try using more bonds... This looks like half a head. How many did you use here?

Perhaps she was talking about the sectioning in this photo? You can see there is no clear section running across her head and the size of sections for the extensions are not consistent.

Thanks Charjem, I was talking about sectioning in both, but this one is more prevalent as you actually have bonds in place.

As I said on my previous please don't
Take offence, that was not my intention.

Hi I used 160 strands of 0.8 and this achieved a full head as client had fine hair. Thank you for the tips and comments x

Black and blonde ombre was a full head, of you fitted anymore then you would see the bonds. As explained i forgot to take before picture, that's is why you see some bonds and the sectioning therefore had not been completed yet. I appreciate all the advice and comments received by all. :)
