Bit confused with the "velosa method" looks like mini lox to me? Have you just named/branded it as your own method or have I missed something? I even googled it lol but it just led me yo your Facebook page?

I'd like to know about this velosa method too, just googled and found a fb page saying the smallest method on the market today but it said mini lox? Just looks like small copper tubes to me and nanos are smaller so it's a little misleading? Also says "the same method as easilocks but better quality hair" so again it's not really the smallest method on the market

I think it's just an extensionist calling it their own method lol. As it's just as they say it is mini lox / easilox. Bit strange to start renaming methods when using mini lox/copper tubes. Guess it's just their own marketing , but it's still odd ( no offense)

I like the name and think the concept is somewhat ingenious. I think considering how competitive the extensions market seems to have become, offering the client something "unique" is a great opportunity.

The "method" could really be another way of branding the entire service from the consultation, hair used, the actual application and aftercare etc.. I think it is more about selling a brand... Think "HD Brows!"

Think about it, after you saw her photos, how many of you googled "The Velosa Method"...

(I could be wrong and it might be something completely new, but I think it's great either way!)

I agree somewhat with your thinking but is it legal to buy something from somewhere and do nothing to make it unique in your own way (eg buying a phone cover and blinging it up etc).. And calling it 'your method' ? And I would be interested to know how many clients ask what makes it different from this method that is already on the market?xx

But it's not unique? That's the point that I don't understand. Lol x

Ah shame! How long does the hair last etc

I've never had a problem with them slipping out or any falling out. The hair itself is really good. After I put them in the client can reuse them once after that and then have to get new ones so they get 2 uses out of the 1 set. I normally recommend my clients to get them done 8weeks max. So you can get a good 4 months out if the hair as long as they use the right stuff

For those wondering, ive not renamed a method of extension application as my own, its just the whole 'method' of my service. So as someone correctly said, from consultation through to aftercare etc. Its all just marketing as something a bit different to everyone else in my area.
Im under the impression that the Easilocks/angel locks/ tantr locks are currently the smallest on the market at the moment. Apart from nanos, which I dont count because of the dastardly bonds on them.
Just clever marketing but not telling any lies about what it is! Works for me since rebranding, twice as busy as with my old standard business name x

Long story.. lol

My client wasn't getting on with rings, she was washing her hair in the bath :irked: and after a good telling off we decided to re tip and do bonds, shes really much better off this way but they were easy to re-tip, the hairs lovely to work with.

Ahhhh I see. I've fitted a couple now and love the hair but not due a maintenance or refit for a few weeks. Had me panicking that the tips turn to mush lol x

No the tips were lovely, the rings just didn't stay in long after being soaked in a bath full of oiled water ;)

lol.. Hardly surprising. They're starting to do 18" this year aren't they? Can't wait for that as most of my clients wear 18"
