Which scissors do you like the best and why?

I recently got new jaguart flower power ones. They're really lovely and comfortable to use. I feel I get a much nicer precise cut than the ones I had before. Which were Sally's range. They're so pretty too :) x

Kasho all the way!! I've got 2 pairs and wouldn't go back to anything!! X

Fantastic thanks guys, need to invest in a new pair xx

Joewell or kasho :) x

Off to google kasha now xx

I've got matsuzaki ones and i love them so comfy however a junior dropped them while cleaning so had them sharpened and re balanced and never been the same since! I was told that they shouldn't really need sharpened again but I feel like the push the hair away sometimes when precision cutting. Just cant find anywhere that does them now :(

We still have a couple of Matsuzaki models left, but are sadly getting out of selling them. (Beautiful scissors, but not enough people buy them.)

We do also have Mizutani or Kasho which are comparable quality, if you want to look at alternatives.

Also, our resident bladesmith reckons he can fix most pairs of scissors. He says that a lot of scissor sharpeners don't understand how to treat really high end Japanese scissors and sharpen them the wrong way (which unfortunately, can ruin them forever). If you'd like him to take a look at yours, then PM me for details or see our website.

xx

Indeed we do, but only the 5.5 inch.
Are you interested in buying it?
We could probably do you a deal as we're trying to clear out the stock.

Thank you so much!! :D I'm in Scotland does it matter? Tbh mine are 5.25's and I was looking at getting 6's anyway...just scared to go for another brand I've had mine for 7 years! They've only been sharpened once and the guy did say to me u need to be careful who touches them as many folk don't know how to sharpen them. Scared me for life haha!!! x

I couldn't use them lol I use a 6.5 -7

haha alot of people say that but my very 1st pair of scissors were a joewell 4.5 and although ive had other makes too always been 4.5.
Ive tried a friends 7 and im all fingers and thumbs with them lol
