I'd do this in richesse personally, without a doubt! No need to use permanent over bleached hair, they actually fade quicker than a richesse due to the porosity. The reason I say richesse over dia light is that in my opinion they give a stronger result. Xx

If you're covering white then just use majirel on your roots and richesse through your ends x

Had my hair coloured at college using Wella tonight. Took the exact picture of Ferne from TOWIE that you are asking about in and my tutor done it for me. I'm bleach blonde. After pre pig she put on 8.3. It's come out perfect. Love the colour xx
