Pre pig with a warm base 7 colour touch, that's what I did when I used wella and it was always lovely

hi pip.

If your going back to a level 5 final color, I would pre-pig with a golden copper. You could use mix tone 0/43 or color touch 0/34
If your think thats too warm, use your 0/33 but add a smidge of 0/43

If you don't add any copper to color back to base 5 in might go karky green. ( How the hell do you spell Karky!! ) x

Thanks :)
BTW its spelt like this khaki .... lol

Just a little update...hair now done and looks gorgeous!!!!!!!!
Lamaur man....suppliers didnt have any mixtone 0/43 or 0/33 or colour touch 0/34....so ended up getting Rusk 'O' orange..which looked very similar to wella 0/43 mixtone on the colour chart
Anyhow it done the trick and colour was fab...thanks for the advice...much appreciated!

Hi pip

Hope u don't mind me asking, did u coat the hair with the rusk orange then dry in and apply the tint?

I'm doing a client next week who wants 5.8 chocolate (rusk) she has mostly natural base 8 and grown out bleach hi lights mid lengths and ends which had been toned to an 8 So I was not planning on pre pigging , as I've used this colour before over highlights etc and it has always come out fine, I apply the rusk as a quasi

You think that would be ok x

Hi pip
I have a friend who has asked me to sort out her very pale blonde highlighted hair which is now khaki underneath as her usual hairdresser attempted to do her dark blonde underneath snd highlights on top.
She wanted a nice choc brown colour but nothing much darker than a base 6
Did the colour u use come out lighter as it was on highlighted hair?
How did u prepig, I've never had to do this as yet have always been lucky enough to be using colours which have all the required tones when colouring from blonde to brown.
Hope u don't mind me asking, just wanna get this spot on as it's for a friend for her birthday .
Thanks xx

just a quick question, is wella colour touch good on greys?

Its great for grey blending. Color touch plus can cover up to 70% white.
