Online beauty bookings site Wahanda has had its eye on the European market for a while now and, last week, they completed a deal that will help them achieve this goal.
Following the acquisition of the German beauty bookings site Salonmeister at the end of 2014, Wahanda last week acquired Lithuanian app developer Lemon Labs and hopes that the deal will help them move into the European as they plan to enter six new markets in the next six months. The deal will also move them towards becoming a primarily mobile-based service.
Speaking of the deal, chief executive and founder of Wahanda, Lopo Champalimaud, said, "The future of Wahanda is in mobile and we have been working with the Lemon Labs team for the past six months in building our consumer and business apps."
Watch this space. Wahanda's plan for global domination just began.
Until then...geek on!
