The Women in Business Award have this year presented the "Decade in Excellence in Business Award" to the founder of Crystal Clear, Sharon Hilditch. The founder of the anti-ageing skincare brand received the award at the event hosted by Merseyside-based The Women's Organisation on March 8th.
Hilditch founded the company in 1995 after identifying a gap in the market between traditional beauty therapies and medical options. The Crystal Clear microdermabrasion is a popular salon treatment and is a favourite of celebrities such as Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna. Later this year, Crystal Clear will be launching the new anti-ageing applicator which uses sonic technology to lift and firm the skin.
Hilditch is no stranger to winning awards. Her previous accolades include "Female Entrepreneur of the Year" from Natwest Every Woman UK in 204 and the Prince Philip Medal in 2003.
