Hi geeks, basically I have very thick long dark brown virgin hair. Normally I only have to wash it twice a week, but recently I've been using clynol shampoo and conditioner (repair) and its feeling really greasy and heavy! I think I need a cleansing shampoo, but can someone recommend a good one for me? Thankyou x

Their is no problem with the shampoo and conditioner you just need to wash your hair more often or it's just gonna make it greasy, try every other day. Only condition your ends not roots. :) x

I don't really know clynol but I would think repair would mean perhaps a protein biased product for chemically damaged hair...... This may be the wrong variant for your hair.;-)

I aggree, If youre using the correct one for your hair, it unlikely that you would suddenly need to wash it more often than you did before..
A gentle cleansing one would probably be more suitable for your virgin hair

I agree, possibly a gentle shampoo for 'normal' hair or dry hair if you straighten it or if it's quite coarse. Even if hairs damaged from straightening, I'd say repair is the wrong way to go...

I believe matrix biolage do a hydratherapie range for this, but that could be totally wrong lol

Kitoko products are really nice too, free from all parabens, sulfates and minerals...very affordable too and smell really nice :)

Thankyou loves :)
