Can I clean up sidewalls with a gel brush dipped in ScrubFresh when doing Shellac?

Thanks lovely
I thought as much just checking
Also creme puff? Ok as a full coverage?
And one last thing,
Is it ok to cap the free edge when the nail is so short to clean the skin up with d sperse?

Yes to all, try not to get product on skin as always, you know the over exposure risks. Have you seen the YouTube video by FingernailFixer on how to polish short or bitten nails? Its a great technique I use a lot. I'll see if i can link it if you want?

Eta - I'll put the link anyway just in case someone else might want it

Thanks so much
That's great advice
But what if the nails are shorter than that ?? i.e so short you can't get under them to cap any free edge?

If you can't then I wouldn't worry too much. If someone is that much of a dedicated biter sealing the edge won't make any difference to the colour longevity lol

You're screwed ;):p

You can only do what you can, on nails that short its got to be a biter, I'd want them in a week later anyway for a check up and i wouldn't expect them to last much longer anyway. By then you'll have a bit more FE to work with

I wish someone would do a video on really short bitten nails...the nails in that video were long in comparison to some I have done!

If they're that short I'm honest with them and say I can shellac them but they probably won't last a week (which in all honesty, if you can't seal the free edge, they won't). Or for an extra £xx I can do an acrylic overlay under the shellac, nudging a couple of millimetres of product over the free edge to give the shellac a small edge. Then they'll probably go 2/3 weeks by which time you can choose to infill & re-shellac or soak the overlay off completely as the nails will have their own free edge by then. X
