Hi geeks,

My website has been up and running for a couple of months now..
Designed by Ruth and Carl
I've just added a shellac page...

Can you please give me some feedback.

Thanks.

I like the website, easy to navigate and very informative. Personally (although clear) I find the white writing difficult to read on the black background, but that might just be me.
Also, I think a 50% discount is too much to offer, we always say its easy to lower prices but difficult to put them back up again. When I first started I did a 25% discount.

Yes, it is nicely organised but the white on black is quite hard on the eyes. I'd be interested to know aproximatly how much they charged you for this. Under £100? Under £200?

I agree there is a little issue with either the font or colour of the writing, apart from that I thought it was very good.

I really like it - pictures are fab where did you get them?

I think your prices are quite low especially for shellac...i thought it was about £25-£30 and as you're in London i think your prices should reflect that....Have you found you have been busier with the website up and running??

Fab website.

But I agree the white against the black is a little harsh for the eyes. Well done, looks great!

I like the website and personally I like the white on black, I found it easy to read ..... but I do have a 26" monitor!!!

I like it, but the only thing I don't like is the size of the links on the links page, one picture comes up huge and throws it off balance...
But loving the style, a little tweaking and its ace xxx

Thanks to you all for your comments!
Really helpful to have other peoples points of view.
I'll be going back over it to do some tweaking.

Most of my clients have found my website through google or my gumtree ad. As I'm just starting up I've kept my prices low. I might have another look over the prices again.

I got my pics from CND website.
I'm going to revise my prices soon. Because I'm new and just starting up I kept them low....
And yes, I have found the website good for business, alot of my new clients have found me through google

Hi Rowena,
I think your website looks fantastic!
The only one thing I personally would change would be the "us" to a "me" on the "how to find us" page & the "contact us" page, as it reads that there are more than one of you.
I personally like the white one the black.
I am pleased for you that you finally got your lamp!
Hope your new website brings you lots new business.

Really like your site and the pictures are fab. I am just starting back after a long break and I'm looking at setting up a website and after you said that it brought in new customers I will definately look into it in more depth.
Fab site well done.
