Hi

I will be cutting my friends hair this week by just using a hair razor, although i've never attempted to do it this way before as she's only got short to medium hair

She wanted more of a choppy look and i just needed some tips on which type of hair cut might help me with this.

Thanks

I use a razor loads but unless you know how to use it be careful! U could end up with a ball
If fuzz!! Why not slice through with scissors?

Hi

Yes i had previously done slicing on her hair but she wasn't happy with how it looked, her hair is very fine so wanted to get more of a choppy effect, i've been practising on my Doll's head and the effect looks much better, so now i want to try it on real hair,

Any tips would be great

Thanks

Personally to get a choppy look on very fine hair I wouldn't razor, I'd do layers, then use a root lift spray on roots through layers, blowdry then use a volume powder and scrunch into the layers after to make it look choppy!

Yeah i had thought it might be better to just use the scissor's i usually do a uniform layer on her, i think too me the layer's look very noticeable but she always wants more layering done because of her fine her, i guess it's a case of just showing her what the razor can do.
