Clear tip application

Hi lovely geeks,

I'm hoping you can help me I've never used clear tips before but a client wants clear see through nails with a dusting of chunky glitter.

How does it work with filing clear tips will the grain from the file show once I apply the clear acrylic?

To get the clearest tip you would want to use a hard gel and sculpt it out with a form. If you use the clear tip and then the acrylic is may not be as clear as you'd like.

You can sculpt in acrylic or use a clear tip. I've used pro impressions in the past and the filing doesn't show. I use top coat on the underside of the tip too.
