Client complaining of high lift tint looking dull at root

Sometimes when clients have been having very light or high lift tints for a long time, they don't notice that the mid lengths and ends are always lighter because of porosity and fading. As a result, when they have their regrowth colored, they think it looks dull compared to the ends.

Even when the mid lengths and ends are refreshed they will always tend to make the roots look dull compared to the ends.



OR MAYBE I HAVE COMPLETELY LOST THE PLOT IN THIS THREAD.

Totally agree with the above post.

My root area in winter always looks dull , because the sun doesn't lift it more.

So you could tone her ends down to match the root area.

She uses bedhead shampoos and treatments and a silver shampoo once a week i did suggest this as she sometimes uses a sunbed but i dont think she uses this often enough to change dramatically

That's a bit harsh! Lol yes it's not the best product range in the world but I wouldn't call it crap - head and shoulders, herbal essence, pantene etc are crap! Bedhead did a great job of encouraging our younger clients to use a professional range, and a few years ago it was really popular! Just a shame they ended up selling it anywhere and everywhere as that has cheapened it for me!

Harsh but fair, their colour shampoo strip not save colour, their volume shampoo makes hair heavy and lank and your hair attracts wasps in summer due to sweet smell. x

Agree, hate the stuff it turns my hair to fluffy coated wire!! We just switched from bedhead to l'oreal and redken products at college and i have to admit i breathed a huuuuuge sigh of relief!!
