My CND Shellac UV lamp has finally died. Have checked bulbs and fuse but not working so am on the hunt for a new one but s2 only stock the CND Shellac LED lamp now. Any ideas where I may find a genuine CND UV Lamp. Wary of buying from eBay...or will any other UV lamp work? Was told that it is best to use the lamp that is sold by the brand you use (shellac). Or shall I just buy the CND LED lamp?

If it's only CND you work with, then get the CND led. Half the curing time, very fast, very small, just perfect.
If you have other brands too, try looking for another brand UV lamp to cover all your services. CND UV is out of production

Yep I just use CND Shellac, lecente and minx products exclusively. Have heard a few negative reports on the LED lamp, that it isn't great for feet and that it doesn't always cure properly, which is why I wanted to stick with what I know and get a UV Lamp again. But if you recommend the LED one I think I'll give it a try. Can't see s2 selling anything that wasn't great...

The CND Uv lamps have been discontinued as was mentioned above and now only the LED's are available.

With regard to the LED lamps there were some issues with some of the original ones produced (plug points crackling etc) but the issues have been fixed, as long as you purchase from Sweet Squared if there are any issues at least you know it's covered under warranty xx

The LED is fab! Honestly get it and it's fine for feet
