Colour advice

Hi,

My client had her hair coloured back in October, i used 10 based highlight with and 6 based tint. She now wants an all over colour and as she is naturally a base 5 i can only advise she go no higher than a base 7 for an all over colour. Do you think i should slightly bleach the hair first or just use 9% on the ends? I use Wella colours.

Well what colour does she want it to be? Start with that and then we can help further x

Well she's a base 6 now naturally base 5 and she wants to be a light colour all over, i wouldnt go higher than a base 7 so obviously if she wants base 6 then its not a problem but if she decides to go base 7 then would i lift or just use high % peroxide? What would you do?

Tint won't lift tint so the only thing you can do is a gentle bleach bath to a base 8 then colour with a base 7. You could always put in some bleach foils to lighten it a bit more alongside the tint.
