Shampoo and dry before colouring as this will really open the cuticle... do you use 3% when covering grey? or can't you use it with swartzkopf?

if i use double base its 9% otherwise just 3%.
i have tried with double base really poor result so last time i used neat tint then just base with some tone with 3%. it was slightly better but still poor if you get me, i wasnt happy.

I will try what you have suggested and fingers crossed thanks so much for your help x

If not maybe try another range for grey coverage x

i have always used igora so not really sure what else to try could u suggest another brand.
she only gets a 6-0 with some random hi lites for toning (hi lites no problem)

Hi I was taught to put neat low vol peroxide on the stubborn greys, dry it in with the hairdryer then go straight over with your tint mixture. I've only had to do this a few times but it's always worked for me.x

I've always been told to dry liquid peroxide into the hair first for stubborn grey

66/0 wella with 6%, 40mins. Re-mix fresh and reappy after 15 x

Matrix is easy, darkening either sync or 10vol in socolor only time you really need 20vol is with dream age as that's for 100% grey coverage and it really is 100% :)

Hey I've always been taught too pre soften first.
Neat 20vol peroxide dried in then apply your normal mix over the top.
Hope this helps
Xox

I also got taught to pre soften with 10 or 20 vol, if ur just doubling up ur base u might as well pour ur tint straight down the sink.

I've always used wella double bases for grey coverage and never had a problem :)
