Cpd accredited courses when already qualified

Hi just looking for some advice as I seem to be a bit lost !! So I have a level 2 nvq in holistic therapies (qualified in 2004 ) completed at collage over a 2 year full time course this inclided Anatomy and physiology reflexology,Aromatherapy and other massages including holistic facials it was a very in-depth course .I am now wanting to add a few more extra treatments to my business ie spa facials ect .Would a certified cpd course be recognised if it was in the realms of my qualification for example spa facials as I already hold a qualification on holistic facial .Sorry if this doesn’t make sense x

Yes, as you have an NVQ 2 in facials you are good to attend a one day/part day CPD course for other types of non electrical facials. This will be fine for insurance purposes.

If ever you are unsure, ask your insurer whether you will be covered for the new therapies. And don’t forget to send through a copy of your certificate as most insurers will need proof of your qualification
